How Does Microsoft Intune Integrate With Other Microsoft Services?
- Intune integrates with Azure Active Directory for access control and Azure Information Protection for data protection purposes.
- Microsoft Intune also integrates with the Microsoft Office suite of products. With Intune, you can remotely install applications such as Outlook and Word on devices and for certain users. You can also control how these applications work for certain devices and users.

When Intune is rolled out for devices on an organization level, users will have to log in with their Office 365 corporate id after which all applicable policies will be pushed on the device/s. Policies could be to implement corporate SSL certificates, apply managed app configuration policies, configure user's profile etc.
Intune is licensed as a standalone Azure Service which forms a part of the Enterprise Mobility + Security. Intune can be used to apply MDM and MAM policies to the devices; however, the device does not appear in the Azure AD devices list.
All the Microsoft 365 data can be securely controlled by virtue of Intune’s ability to enact security policies at the application level that
keep information safe irrespective of the fact of what devices are accessing the information.
